Mothers Day, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea 2012: policemen wielding machetes and guns descend on the Paga Hill Settlement to bulldoze their houses to the ground. Residents are beaten and policemen open fire on the crowd. This brutal demolition is to make way for a multi-million development which will include a five star hotel and marina wharf. The Opposition, an investigative documentary, follows Joe Moses as he struggles to save his community before they are forcibly evicted. Despite betrayals, police brutality and risks to his own life, Joe battles through the courts fighting to save his home.
