About Chris

The newest member of the Media Stockade family, Chris heads up business affairs and is on a mission to expand our production capacity. With 20+ years in the film industry, Chris’s remarkably broad skillset spans film and TV production, distribution, marketing, impact, business affairs and legal. In 2022 his feature documentary Franklin launched at the Melbourne International Film Festival, was nominated for Best Documentary at the AACTA and Walkley Awards, and went on to become the second highest-grossing Australian theatrical documentary for the year. Chris pioneered crowdfunding and self-distribution methods on several feature-length documentaries, including Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (2011), Small is Beautiful (2015) and Vitamania (2018).
