“Mozart’s Sister” Fourth Highest Grossing Australian Documentary Cinema Release in 2024

Our feature documentary investigating a 250-year-old musical mystery has become the 4th highest grossing documentary in Australian cinemas for 2024.

Thank you so much to everyone who has made Mozart’s Sister the FOURTH HIGHEST GROSSING documentary in Australian cinemas this year!

The film is still screening after more than two months on the big screen. For context, most documentaries are lucky to get a single weekend in cinemas.

To everyone who has come along to see the film, then told your friends and community - thank you! Word of mouth is so important with an independent film like this one.

If you'd like to see the film, you can find screenings at GOOD.FILM, and sign the pledge to support more diversity in classical music.

You can also organise a community screening HERE.

She and Wolfgang had this wonderful musical collaboration for years, and the only reason it stopped was because she was a woman … The injustice of it seems so wrong.
